Pitch-In
The Kingdom of God needs all of us working together as the Body of Christ. Different places to serve require different gifts, so everyone has their part to play. Learn how to get involved at RHUMC!
Worship & Fellowship
Follow the links to sign up for dates you can serve:
- Coffee Prep and Clean-Up: Prepare coffee for Sunday fellowship time and clean it up afterwards.
- Scripture readers: Read scripture in worship (live or pre-recorded). Readers are needed every Sunday.
- Greeters: Greet as people enter the building on Sunday morning.
- Altar Flower donations: Beautify the sanctuary and honor a loved one or event ($40).
- To help with ministry to children or youth, email Seth Horstman, Director of Family Ministries.
- Donut Hosting: Set out and clean up from donuts and coffee on the 2nd Sunday of each month.
Missions & Service

- Feed My Starving Children: Watch the announcements for our next all-church packing session.
- Red Cross Blood Drive: Our next blood drive will be October 12, 2024, 9am-3pm. There's a critical shortage of blood available to hospitals, and all donations make a difference! Can't give? You can make reminder calls or welcome those you come to donate. Watch for sign-ups to volunteer or donate.
- Mission Trip: Our summer 2024 mission trip was to the Appalachia through ASP (Appalachia Service Project). Email Seth to learn more about past or future mission trips.
- Pledge Card: Fill out a pledge card either at church or by clicking here so we can plan our budget.
- Cookie Walk: We sell cookies by the pound for missions at our annual Cookie Walk in December.
- Pumpkin Patch: Stop by our pumpkin patch each October! All proceeds go to charity & missions; click the link to help out or volunteer. The next Patch will open in October 2024.
- MN Adult & Teen Challenge: The MN Adult & Teen Challenge choir leads us in worship every year. Hear the choir and their testimonies on January 19, 2025. Follow the link to learn more and give to support their work moving people from addiction to recovery.
- Loaves and Fishes: RHUMC serves and cleans up free meals on 2nd Mondays each month, 5pm-7:15pm for Loaves and Fishes at Easter Lutheran By the Lake (4545 Pilot Knob Road, Eagan). It’s currently carry-out only.

- Second Harvest Heartland: Working to end hunger in the heartland.
- United Methodist Committee on Relief: UMCOR serves globally and works to provide relief, response and long-term recovery when events overwhelm a community.
