Neon is a student group committed to social justice for people & the planet and spirituality shaped by Jesus & joy. "Neon Students" is a Registered Student Organization and is independent from the University of Minnesota. The word "neon" in the Greek means "new." A community that’s colorful, bright, and new because of Jesus. Most spiritual and religious spaces on campus suffer from homophobia, transphobia, patriarchy, white supremacy, and other toxic systems. Neon believes real spirituality and social justice is about love: loving yourself, others, and God. If you care about social justice, spirituality, or finding community, please check them out!
